Youth Zone
Who We Are
Youth Zone is a multilingual, community program in Pawtucket that helps meet the growing social, emotional, and childcare needs of kids and their families. We offer a variety of affordable services for children ages 5 to 12, focusing on their education, emotional well-being, and development. At the same time, we provide helpful resources and support for their families.
My Passion
Brittany Arboleda, Founder and Executive Director
Helping children is my passion! With over thirteen years of experience working with young people both in and out of the classroom, I am proud to now be serving families in my hometown of Pawtucket. Raised with my Cape Verdean roots, I understand the diverse needs of our children in our community and am ready to work with our staff to best serve all who enter our programs.
My background includes bachelor degrees in both Youth Development and Business Management from Rhode Island College, giving me the tools to manage both the programs and the organizational side effectively. I’ve also had the honor of serving as the Site Director and Program Director for some of our state’s premier childcare organizations. Each role has helped me grow and deepen my commitment to creating supportive, enriching environments for young people.

Greetings! My name is Faith! I currently work as a school social worker and mental health clinician in private practice.
Having grown up in Pawtucket, I graduated from the school system and participated in both before and after school programs at different times. I understand the importance of making programs like Youth Zone accessible and am looking forward to being part of doing just that. In my free time, you’ll either find me spending time outside with my two dogs, Lego and Yeti, or planning my next live concert experience.

My name is Pam. I am a Kindergarten teacher with the Central Falls School District. I have been teaching for over 25 years. I have a B.S. in Early Childhood from U.R.I. and a Master’s in Education from R.I.C.
I am excited and proud to be part of the Youth Zone board. As a teacher I understand how important childcare is for working parents. My parents are always asking for different programs they can enroll their kids in, and there are not too many options in the community.

Hi, my name is Patricia. I am currently a preschool teacher and have been in early childhood education for over six years. Early childhood has my heart—it’s truly my passion to support children’s education and development.
I’m also a mom, so being around kids is what I love most. I find so much joy in watching children learn, grow, and explore new opportunities. That’s one of the many reasons I’m so passionate about Youth Zone.
